EVENT INFO

On Saturday, November 2nd the 2nd Annual Aces for Aunt Jodi Frisbee Golf Tournament will be taking place. Jodi Bonadurer loved this church and frisbee golf, so we have combined the two for this yearly event. Last year we were able to raise 1,000 dollars for the church, and hopefully this year we will raise even more. A 25 dollar entry/donation will get you an event t-shirt, with the rest of the money going to the church. You can also pledge a donation for any hole in ones that people get during the tournament as a way to support the cause. We would love for you to be part of the experience, either by playing with us or just donating.

John “J4” Bonadurer

Event Founder, Nephew of Aunt Jodi

Don’t want to play or can’t make it?

You can still get a custom event T-Shirt with a $25 donation!

ABOUT JODI

A woman of many titles! Some of her favorites included: teacher, daughter, aunt, (great) aunt, friend, wife, and mother. And also... frisbee golf player! In late 2020, Jodi and her husband Ron started playing disc golf after an idea and invitation from their nephew John “J4” Bonadurer. It soon became a family affair and a way to gather friends and family for laughs, friendly competition, and more importantly, a way to spend time together.

Even in with Stage IV Lung Cancer, Jodi never missed an opportunity to have fun and be with the be people she loved. Soon after her diagnosis she found another community she loved being around: Salem United Church of Christ. The message of spreading love, accepting others, living without judgement, and helping those in need resonated deeply with her.

We remember Jodi and miss her every day. We hope that the tournament is a way to raise money for a church she felt the world needed and to do so in the spirit of friends, fun, and love.

ABOUT SALEM UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
